J.T. Ginn to Start for A's on Tuesday
J.T. Ginn has been tabbed to make the start on Tuesday against the division-rival Texas Rangers, per Martin Gallegos of MLB.com. Even though the matchup is a good one, Ginn will carry little fantasy upside in what will be his fifth start of the season and 12th appearance overall. The 26-year-old former second-rounder of the New York Mets hasn't started a game this season since May 19 against the Los Angeles Angels, when he went only four innings and gave up four earned runs in a loss. Ginn went over five innings just once in his four starts and can't be expected to go very deep in Tuesday's outing since he hasn't gone over three innings pitched in an outing since June 30 against the Tampa Bay Rays. He also hasn't been very great in his second big-league season, posting a 4.91 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 41:9 K:BB in 33 innings.
