Pat Freiermuth's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Pat Freiermuth for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1
ANALYSIS: Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth has had a disappointing 2023 season. The third-year tight end has only played in six games because of multiple injuries. However, he is the TE30 for the year, averaging 6.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Freiermuth has 18 receptions on 25 targets for 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season.
After missing five games with injuries, the former Penn State star had only one reception on one target for seven receiving yards in his first game back. However, he was outstanding last week against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Freiermuth had nine receptions on 11 targets for 120 receiving yards and 16.5 fantasy points in the win over the division rivals. The nine receptions and 120 receiving yards were career highs, while the 11 targets were the second-most in his young career.
Meanwhile, fantasy players should expect another solid performance from the tight end in Week 13. The Steelers face the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Arizona has surrendered one receiving touchdown and 11.9 fantasy points per game to tight ends over their past five contests.
