Dynasty Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks and news written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away in dynasty leagues.

Rome Odunze, WR, Bears
Position Ranking: WR21
Trade Value: 51

Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (foot) reiterated that he will not need offseason surgery on his foot, according to Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times. Odunze had a stress fracture in his foot that caused him to miss the final five games of the regular season. He returned for Chicago's two playoff games to catch exactly two passes for 44 yards in both contests. The 23-year-old second-year wideout was a popular breakout candidate in fantasy going into the 2025 season, and he was well on his way to fulfilling that with five touchdown catches in the first four games.

However, Odunze quickly cooled off and scored only one more time in his final 10 games. His foot injury likely had something to do with that. Odunze will look to bounce back in 2026 with better health, but his fantasy ceiling could be capped with the emergence of young receiver Luther Burden III and tight end Colston Loveland.

Verdict: Considering buying low after injury-riddled second half of the season

Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seahawks
Position Ranking: RB22
Trade Value: 28

The loss of Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee), who tore his ACL in the Divisional Round win over the San Francisco 49ers, is a significant one, but ESPN's Brady Henderson writes that it shouldn't matter if Kenneth Walker III "continues his recent tear." Walker had 19 carries for 116 yards and three touchdowns last Saturday in the win over the 49ers, and he finished with 100 yards in the big Week 16 win over the division-rival Los Angeles Rams.

In the regular-season finale against San Fran, he had 97 yards to put him over 1,000 rushing yards on the season. "I thought this was the most decisive he's ran up to this point, and as expected, you just keep getting better and keep finding ways to improve, especially in the run game. He's done a great job," head coach Mike Macdonald said. With Charbonnet now out, Walker's volume should increase, making him a top-three fantasy RB in the NFC Championship against the Rams.

Verdict: Consider buying high as early workhorse for Seahawks next season, or as a high-priority free agent

Keon Coleman, WR, Bills
Position Ranking: WR64
Trade Value: 20

Buffalo Bills owner Terry Pegula pinned the selection of wide receiver Keon Coleman in the 2024 draft on the coaching staff and said that general manager Brandon Beane was "being a team player," and that Coleman wasn't at the top of Beane's list at the time, according to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic. Buffalo fired head coach Sean McDermott on Monday and promoted Beane to president of football operations.

The Bills drafted Coleman in the second round in 2024 out of Florida State, and he's been a bust in his two seasons with the team, catching 67 of 116 targets for 970 yards and eight touchdowns in 26 games. Not only has his production been a disappointment, but he has also dealt with maturity issues and has been suspended by the team for his actions off the field, which include arriving late to a team meeting. With McDermott now gone, that doesn't bode well for Coleman being able to turn things around in Year 3.

Verdict: Sell low on Coleman, as he could be phased out of the league soon

Joe Mixon, RB, Texans
Position Ranking: RB56
Trade Value: 14

Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio said on Wednesday that running back Joe Mixon (foot, ankle) had a medical condition that never improved, according to Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle. "He didn't jump off a building. He wasn't doing anything irresponsible. It was a freak thing," Caserio said. The Texans were extremely vague with Mixon's injury all year, and he never ended up playing in 2025. Head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Monday that Mixon's status for the 2026 season is also uncertain due to his injury.

Unexpectedly, the Texans struggled for consistent production out of their backfield with a mix of veteran Nick Chubb and Woody Marks. Marks took over halfway through the year and should be heavily involved again next season, even if Mixon returns. Needless to say, a lot of fantasy managers won't want anything to do with Mixon in 2026.

Verdict: Sell for anything  you can get, with Mixon's future highly in doubt

Tank Dell, WR, Texans
Position Ranking: WR75
Trade Value: 12

Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said on Monday that he's "excited" to see wide receiver Tank Dell (knee) back on the field for the 2026 season, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 Sports. Dell missed the entire 2025 season after tearing his ACL, MCL, and LCL in Week 16 of 2024. The 26-year-old spent all of 2025 rehabbing after having multiple surgeries to fix his knee. Dell's timeline to return to football activities is unknown, so we don't know exactly yet whether he'll be ready for training camp in the summer, preseason, or the start of the 2026 campaign in the fall.

The former third-round pick is fortunate to even have the chance to play football again after his devastating knee injury, so expecting him to become fantasy relevant in his final year under contract might be a stretch, especially after the Texans added wideouts Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Verdict: Buy for next to nothing in ultra-deep dynasty leagues. Avoid in shallower setups

Who Should I Trade For?

Dynasty Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Rome Odunze, Kenneth Walker III, Joe Mixon, Keon Coleman, Bucky Irving, Christian McCaffrey, Tetairoa McMillan, and Tank Dell. These are some key fantasy football names heading into next season.

Using The Trade Values. These are simple trade value charts, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
