Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 14? Evan Engram, Will Dissly, Noah Gray

Evan Engram - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Who should I start for Week 14? Fantasy football outlooks for Evan Engram, Will Dissly, Noah Gray. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.

Deciding which tight ends to start in Week 14 requires careful consideration, especially with some players in challenging matchups or dealing with quarterback changes.

Evan Engram, Will Dissly, and Noah Gray each have unique circumstances that could impact their fantasy value this week.

It's time to analyze whether these tight ends should make your starting lineup.

Should I Start Evan Engram for Fantasy Football?

The Jacksonville Jaguars tight end has been a reliable fantasy option this season, but the recent injury to Trevor Lawrence has slightly lowered his ceiling.

In Week 13, Evan Engram led the team with seven catches on nine targets for 41 yards in a 23-20 defeat to the Houston Texans. Mac Jones has provided Engram with red-zone opportunities, as shown by the tight end's 25% red-zone target rate with Jones compared to just 10% with Lawrence.

This week, Jacksonville faces a Tennessee Titans defense in the middle of the pack against tight ends. Over the last four games, the Titans have allowed two touchdowns to the position. While Engram may need a touchdown to deliver substantial fantasy value, his volume and role make him a comfortable start in most formats.

Should I Start Will Dissly for Fantasy Football?

In Week 13, Will Dissly put up a goose egg, failing to catch his lone target in the Los Angeles Chargers' win over the Atlanta Falcons.

The offense struggled overall, with only Ladd McConkey producing a meaningful performance. If McConkey misses Week 14 due to a knee injury, Dissly could see an expanded role. He has been targeted at least four times in six of his last eight games, suggesting potential for volume.

Dissly has a favorable matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs this week. The Chiefs concede the third-most fantasy points per game to tight ends. On average, tight ends see 8.67 targets and 6.67 receptions per game versus this defense. With the Chiefs also allowing four touchdowns to the position this season, Dissly is a strong streaming option in 12+ team leagues.

Should I Start Noah Gray for Fantasy Football?

Noah Gray has been quietly productive for the Kansas City Chiefs in recent weeks, scoring 9.8 PPR points in Week 13 after a 22.6-point outing in Week 12.

However, this week presents a tough challenge against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers have given up the fewest fantasy points to tight ends over the last four weeks, limiting the position to 91 yards, 11 receptions, and one touchdown.

While Gray has shown flashes of fantasy relevance, this matchup makes him a risky play. With the Chargers surrendering just one tight-end touchdown all season, Gray is not a recommended start in most formats. Consider other options for Week 14.
