Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider drafting in 2026:
Blake Corum, Los Angeles Rams
After a quiet 2024 rookie campaign, Los Angeles Rams running back Blake Corum emerged in his second season as first a usable flex play and then a bona fide week-winner. With the Rams' sights set on a deep postseason run, they seemed to make a concerted effort to keep primary back Kyren Williams as fresh as possible, and after Williams opened the season with 19 touches per game through the first nine weeks, that average fell below 16 from Weeks 10 through 18.
With 2025 fourth-round pick Jarquez Hunter relegated to special teams, those extra opportunities went entirely to Corum, and in adding an element of explosiveness to the backfield, he finished the year with 746 yards on a team-leading 5.1 per carry. Corum was the fantasy RB17 over the final six weeks of the season, and his five rushing touchdowns in that span were topped only by Derrick Henry's seven.
For the first time since 2016, the Rams did not add a running back through the NFL Draft, so his role appears secured heading into year three, and with Los Angeles again an early Super Bowl favorite, it would stand to reason that keeping Williams fresh would still be a priority.
Even as a change of pace back, the former third-round pick out of Michigan will continue to offer standalone flex value, but should Williams miss extended time, something he has not done since 2023, Corum would greatly exceed his price tag of RotoBaller's RB35.
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London caught 68 passes for 919 yards and seven touchdowns across 12 games last season. He missed five games with a knee injury, but had elite usage, as he had 21.5% of the team's targets, averaged 2.52 yards per route run, and averaged around 16 fantasy points per week. The 24-year-old signed a four-year $141 million extension with the Falcons this offseason. London will be under a new head coach in Kevin Stefanski, OC Tommy Reese, and a new starting quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa while Michael Penix Jr. (knee) continues to recover from an ACL tear.
Despite being in a new offensive system, the Falcons offense will revolve around running back Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and London again in 2026. It will be the third time in his five-year career that London will be under a new offense, but fantasy managers can expect another solid season from London due to his high usage.
RotoBaller is on board with London having a top-10 season, and projects 93 catches for 1,193 yards and seven touchdowns, making him a mid-second-round pick in upcoming fantasy football drafts.
Jalen Coker, Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker was an early offseason sleeper candidate after his budding chemistry with Bryce Young was put on display down the stretch of the 2025 season and in the Panthers' Wild Card loss to the Rams, in which he recorded a career-high 134 receiving yards and a touchdown. Coker began the season on injured reserve due to a strained quad and started slowly after missing six games, but over his final six games of the season, including the playoffs, he averaged 63 receiving yards per contest and scored four touchdowns, tied for the seventh-most by any receiver in that stretch.
With the third-round pick Chris Brazzell II tearing his LCL in the opening days of training camp, Coker is all but secured of an every-down role. He projects to be the primary slot receiver in an offense whose weak tight end room led to the seventh-highest rate of 11 personnel in the league in 2025, and at 6'3" and 213 pounds, he's got the size to kick outside in two-receiver sets alongside 2025 Offensive Rookie of the Year Tetairoa McMillan.
Coker has been an easy player to root for since the Panthers picked him up as an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross in 2024, and 2026 is lining up cleanly for a potential breakout season.
A.J. Brown, New England Patriots
Newly acquired New England Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown was the focal point of one of the largest trades of the offseason. After being linked to the Patriots for several months, the Eagles finally opted to send their WR1 to New England to join MVP runner-up Drake Maye. Even though Brown expressed frustration with the Eagles' offense throughout the 2025 season, the wideout still turned in a productive campaign, catching 78 of his 121 targets for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns.
This stat line made him the overall WR11 in PPR scoring and marked the second time over his past three seasons in which Brown finished as a top-12 option at the position. Brown has been a stable force in the red zone, scoring seven touchdowns in three straight seasons and drawing at least 120 targets in two of his last three, despite playing in a run-heavy offense. Brown should see his fantasy ceiling rise significantly, joining Maye, who finished as the QB2 as a sophomore despite lacking a true WR1 in his offense.
Brown will now slide in as the top option for Maye, sharing the field with Romeo Doubs and DeMario Douglas. Even though the Patriots leaned on their rushing attack in 2025 (sixth-most rushing attempts in the sport), bringing in a true WR1 to this offense will help them drive the ball downfield. Playing with one of the game's premier passers should keep Brown firmly in the WR1 tier, making him a great selection going off the board as the WR12 (28.0 ADP) on PPR Sleeper drafts for those who opt to target the running back position early in their drafts.
Josh Downs, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs came into the 2025 season as one of the most hyped breakout candidates in the league. While it was ultimately teammate Alec Pierce who would go on to win weeks as a late-round receiver pick out of Indianapolis, Downs ended the year as the WR48, the worst result of his career and a full 12 spots lower than his 2024 finish.
With that kind of disappointment leaving a bad taste in the mouths of many drafters, Downs is severely underrated heading into 2026 drafts, despite having one of the best offseasons a receiver could ask for. Michael Pittman Jr., who led the team in targets in each of his past five seasons with the Colts, was traded to Pittsburgh in the early offseason, creating the opportunity for Downs to add to his 93-target and 66-reception averages across his first three years in the league. While he still profiles primarily as a slot receiver, Indianapolis no longer has the personnel to keep Downs off the field in two-receiver sets.
The Colts did not select a pass-catcher until the seventh round of the NFL Draft, adding Deion Burks to a wide receiver room that currently has veteran Keenan Allen penciled into the third spot. Receiving work in Indianapolis is slated to run through Downs, Pierce, and tight end Tyler Warren in 2026, and as long as quarterback Daniel Jones does not miss extensive time after an Achilles tear ended his first season with the Colts, Downs should be a lock to return the type of late-round value that he could not in 2025. At RotoBaller's WR48, he is currently being drafted at his absolute floor.
