BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~170 Overall
CURRENT ADP: ~195
ANALYSIS: The Carolina Panthers drafted Terrace Marshall Jr. in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, and he is a late-round flier worth taking in fantasy football drafts. Marshall will step in and be the Panthers' third receiver behind D.J. Moore and Robby Anderson, with Curtis Samuel now playing in Washington.
Marshall is a big-bodied receiver, who is the contested catch option Carolina has been lacking. Marshall is listed at 6'3", 200 pounds and used that size to haul in 82 percent of his contested targets in college last season. That was the highest percent of any player that had at least seven percent of their targets contested. He showed his downfield abilities with 15.2 yards per catch and had 15 catches of at least 15 yards.
Volume is the lone year one concern for him, but he has a strong chance of leading this team in receiving touchdowns right away. The 21-year-old has had a strong preseason, grading out as Pro Football Focus' top rookie wideout while accumulating nine catches for 181 yards and a touchdown in three starts. Marshall looks like he'll be in the flex conversation in fantasy leagues this season, even with several mouths to feed in Carolina. With a low ADP around 195, Marshall is an excellent option to target at the end of fantasy drafts, and has sleeper value written all over him. He is an upside late-round flier and could blossom into a mid-season breakout.
