Week 12 PPR Tight End Rankings for Fantasy Football - Trey McBride, Cade Otton, Isaiah Likely, Hunter Henry

Isaiah Likely - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Updated Week 12 fantasy football tight end rankings for PPR scoring. Set winning lineups with our Week 12 ranks for fantasy football and the 2023 NFL season.

Hey, RotoBallers! Four games have already been completed as we look ahead to the rest of Week 12. Whether fantasy managers are streaming or deciding between two mid-range tight ends, we have the solution for tough start/sit decisions with our Week 12 PPR tight end rankings for the 2023 fantasy football season.

Unless you have an elite option like Travis Kelce, the tight end position, for the most part, is very boom-or-bust. For fantasy managers searching for a replacement for Mark Andrews (ankle), see where key options such as Trey McBrideDalton SchultzDavid NjokuIsaiah LikelyCade Otton, and Hunter Henry rank in Week 12.

Our PPR fantasy football tight end rankings for Week 12 are put together by Nick Mariano, Scott Engel, Andersen Pickard, and Brandon Murchinson. In addition to our staff rankings, below you will also find a summary of this week's important fantasy football injury news. There are always key injuries to keep track of, so be sure to check back until kickoff.

Week 12 Tight End Rankings Analysis

A new feature has been added to our weekly fantasy football rankings article. Below, you will find our fantasy football outlooks for key options in Week 12, which gives readers a matchup preview of that player and advice on whether to start or avoid for the upcoming week. We provide outlooks for all 32 NFL teams, which can be found on our player profile pages and our fantasy football news desk.

Trey McBride, TE, Arizona Cardinals
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 67
Week 12 Tight End PPR Rankings: 5

Arizona Cardinal's tight end Trey McBride finished second on the team in receptions and targets in the Week 11 loss to the Houston Texans, showcasing his elite ability. In Week 12, Arizona will match up against the L.A. Rams, who boast the 9th best defense against the pass. Despite this, McBride should remain heavily involved in the team's passing attack, as the Rams have surprisingly struggled against opposing tight ends.

With a re-emerging Kyler Murray under center, McBride is positioned to be at or near the top of the team lead in targets and receptions once again. Due to his elite involvement in the offense, McBride projects as a solid option at the position and should be viewed as a TE1 on volume alone.

Cade Otton, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 122
Week 12 Tight End PPR Rankings: 18

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton has finished with four or more receptions in four of his last five games. The young tight end seems to be more involved in the passing attack as the season progresses. In four of his last five contests, Otton has seen five or more targets. The problem for Otton has been extending the play and getting yards after the catch.

The good news is that Otton has a favorable matchup against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 12. A defense that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Despite a good matchup, fantasy managers shouldn't consider Otton anything more than a TE2 for this Week 12 matchup.

Dalton Schultz, TE, Houston Texans
Week 12 Overall PPR Rankings: 74
Week 12 Tight End PPR Rankings: 7

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz has a great matchup in Week 12 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville is giving up the third most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, making Schultz a solid option this weekend.

The 27-year-old veteran has been a strong fantasy starter this year and has scored a touchdown in five of the past seven games. He struggled against the Jaguars in Week 3 last time, catching just one pass for nine yards. But it appears now that Schultz and quarterback C.J. Stroud are finally clicking on the field.
