Yankees Planning For Harrison Bader To Return Friday
2 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that the plan is for outfielder Harrison Bader (hamstring) to play in a minor-league rehab game on Wednesday and then return for the series opener against the Boston Red Sox on Friday. Bader has been away from the Yankees since late May with a right-hamstring strain, but he's made good progress and should rejoin the starting lineup in center field this weekend. The 29-year-old will return to a .267 average (24-for-90) with two triples, six home runs, 19 RBI, six stolen bases and 14 runs scored in his 26 games played. For his power-speed combination and regular playing time in a potent offense, Bader should be rostered in the majority of fantasy leagues, but he's currently rostered in only 43% of Yahoo leagues.
