The Detroit Tigers are among the teams interested in free-agent right-hander Taijuan Walker, according to a source. Detroit would like to add one veteran starter this winter. Walker missed most of the previous two seasons with elbow and shoulder injuries, but he had a 2.70 ERA over 11 starts with the Mariners and Blue Jays in 2020. Walker is still only 28 years old and could bring some experience to a young Tigers rotation in 2021. Injuries still make him somewhat of a risky proposition from a fantasy perspective, but Walker also had a pristine 1.16 WHIP and a 50:19 K:BB in his 53 1/3 innings during the shortened season. As a low-cost, low-risk pick in fantasy drafts, Walker could return some decent value in the right situation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
