Miami Marlins right-handed reliever Jesus Tinoco (forearm) discontinued his throwing program and is undergoing further evaluation, according to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com. Tinoco was having a tough time boucing back arm-wise the day after throwing. It's unclear now when the 30-year-old Venezuelan might be able to return to Miami's bullpen, but this setback means he might not return until the final month of the season in September. Before getting injured, he had posted a bloated 5.12 ERA (3.98 FIP) and 1.29 WHIP with a career-high four saves, eight walks and 10 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings over 20 relief appearances in his first full season with the Fish. The Marlins are not going to rush Tinoco back, so there's also the possibility that he doesn't pitch again in the big leagues the rest of the year.--Keith Hernandez
