Patrick Cantlay finished T9 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, marking his fourth top-10 finish of the year while gaining over six strokes on approach. He looks to carry that momentum into the BMW Championship, where he has previously won twice, including the last time it was held at Caves Valley in 2021. The course has been renovated into a 7,600-yard, par-70 layout, putting an emphasis on distance this week. Cantlay ranks eighth in strokes gained on approach, 10th in total strokes gained, and 81st in driving distance. He is also 21st in birdie-or-better percentage and 78th in putting.
