Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira returned to the win column by defeating Mateusz Gamrot via second-round submission in the main event of UFC Rio on Saturday. Oliveira applied pressure early in the fight, landing teep kicks on Gamrot, but the finishing sequence came in the second round after Oliveira took Gamrot down. After taking Gamrot down, Oliveira landed a nasty face crank, forcing Gamrot to tap out. In 7:48 of action, Oliveira landed a takedown and 11 significant strikes. With the win, Oliveira improved to 24-11 with one NC in the UFC.--Alen Kurbasic
