Kendrick Bourne Records 142 Receiving Yards for Second Straight Week
Kendrick Bourne recorded his second straight monster performance in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hauling in five catches for 142 yards on nine targets. Bourne now has 15 catches for 284 yards on 20 targets over the past two weeks. With 49ers wideout Ricky Pearsall (knee) having missed two straight games due to a knee injury and fellow wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ribs, ankle) playing through broken ribs, Bourne has stepped up. The 49ers could be getting tight end George Kittle (hamstring) back off of Injured Reserve in the coming weeks, which would provide some target competition for Bourne. For now, Bourne has a chance to provide consistent production as one of the featured pieces in the San Francisco passing game.
