Chiefs "Allocating a Heavy Workload" for Rashee Rice Right Away
Rashee Rice back from suspension in Week 7, and the team "will be allocating a heavy workload for him as soon as possible," according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Rice joins a talented group of pass catchers in Kansas City that also includes wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Marquise Brown, as well as tight end Travis Kelce. Still, Rice should be expected to take over as the number one option in the passing game for quarterback Patrick Mahomes sooner rather than later. In four games before suffering a season-ending knee injury in 2024, Rice recorded 24 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns on 29 targets. He profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver heading into a Week 7 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
