Jean Matsumoto got back in the win column by defeating Miles Johns via split decision on the main card of UFC Vegas 109 on Saturday. It was a highly competitive fight, but Matsumoto adapted after the first round, gradually increasing his intensity. In the end, two judges scored the fight in favor of Matsumoto, while one judge gave the fight to Johns. In 15 minutes of action, Matsumoto landed 95 significant strikes. With the win, Matsumoto has managed to bounce back after suffering the first loss of his career. He has now improved to 17-1 as a pro, and he's now 3-1 in the UFC.
