Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Carter Hart (lower body) will return to the lineup on Sunday against the New York Rangers, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. He is available for selection after missing one game due to a lower-body injury. Hart made his Golden Knights debut earlier this week, defeating the Chicago Blackhawks 4-3 in a shootout. He finished his first NHL outing since January 2024 with 27 saves on 30 shots. The Golden Knights haven't yet named their starter for Sunday's contest. Akira Schmid is coming off a shutout performance on Friday night against the New Jersey Devils and may remain between the sticks against a Rangers team that has gone a horrible 3-8-2 on home ice this season.--Taavi Pailk
