Wyatt Langford Out Wednesday With Forearm Tightness
Wyatt Langford (forearm) is dealing with forearm tightness and will sit out Wednesday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Shawn McFarland of the Dallas Morning News reports. The Rangers haven't released their lineup yet, but it's likely the just-activated Evan Carter will replace Langford in center field. While the Rangers don't believe Langford's injury is serious, they'll take a look at it to make sure, according to McFarland. Langford has spent time on the 10-day injured list twice this season with oblique issues, but he has still appeared in 100 games and hit a decent .239/.325/.412 with 16 homers, 48 RBI, 49 runs scored, and 15 stolen bases in 428 plate appearances.
