The Texas Rangers have placed outfielder Adolis Garcia (ankle) on the 10-day injured list with a sprained ankle, according to Shawn McFarland of the Dallas Morning News. The team is replacing Garcia with outfielder Evan Carter (back), who's returning from the 10-day IL after a bout with back spasms. It's unclear when Garcia suffered the injury, but he played in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks and went 0-for-4 with an RBI. Garcia has gone just 9-for-46 (.196) with one home run in 11 games this month. The 32-year-old is hitting a less-than-stellar .224/.266/.388 in 473 plate appearances, though he has contributed 16 homers, 64 RBI, 46 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases.--Connor Byrne
