Houston Astros starting pitcher Cristian Javier (shoulder) is set to miss some time after exiting early during Wednesday's outing. On Friday, Javier was placed on the 15-day injured list due to a Grade 2 right shoulder strain. This is tough news for the Astros, who have already lost Hunter Brown (shoulder) earlier this week. Given the severity of the injury, Javier is likely to miss more than a couple of weeks. The right-hander was already struggling with 13 earned runs over 9.1 innings of work this season. Fantasy managers in 12-team formats can feel safe about moving on from Javier. The Astros have recalled J.P. France to take his spot in the rotation. There's no reason for fantasy managers to run and add France at the moment.--Andy Webb
