Si Woo Kim Looks to Build Momentum at BMW Championship
Si Woo Kim had missed three straight cuts heading into last week's FedEx St. Jude Championship, but he bounced back nicely with a T14 finish, gaining over eight strokes on approach. He'll look to carry that momentum into the BMW Championship, which returns to a renovated Caves Valley for the first time since 2021. The 7,600-yard, par-70 layout will put an emphasis on approach play and distance this week. Kim ranks 27th in total strokes gained, 31st in strokes gained on approach, and 142nd in driving distance. His short game is among the best on Tour, ranking 15th around the green, but his putting remains a weakness at 152nd. Sitting 41st in the FedEx Cup standings, Kim will need a 21st or better finish to have a chance to crack the top 30 and qualify for next week's Tour Championship. At $7,300 on DraftKings, Kim offers decent value, though his lack of distance could be a limiting factor.
