TCU quarterback Josh Hoover is set to enter the transfer portal, and Chris Hummer of 247 Sports and CBS says Indiana is a school to watch during his portal recruitment, according to his sources. Hoover has played in 36 games over the last three seasons with the Horned Frogs, passing for over 9,600 yards, 71 touchdowns, and 33 interceptions. He's mostly a traditional pocket passer, but he has rushed for eight scores in his career. The Hoosiers likely expect Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza to declare for the 2026 NFL Draft at season's end, so the program has its eye on the next starting quarterback under the Curt Cignetti tenure.
