Patrick Kane to Miss Fifth Consecutive Game
Detroit Red Wings right wing Patrick Kane (upper body) won't be available until after the Christmas break, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press reports. The Red Wings have one more game before the break, facing the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. This will mark Kane's fifth consecutive absence. Kane has been sharp when in the lineup this season, posting 23 points (six goals, 17 assists) in 24 appearances. John Leonard has been doing a great job as his replacement on the second line, scoring in back-to-back games and amassing three points (two goals, one assist) in four outings.
