Gustavo Campero Carted Off Field Monday With Leg Injury
Gustavo Campero (leg) suffered what appeared to be a serious leg injury trying to rob a Max Muncy home run in Monday's game against the Dodgers. Campero leapt onto the right-field wall in the eighth inning and got his cleats caught up in the padding of the wall. He immediately went to the warning track and was carted off the field. Christian Moore came into the game in Campero's lineup spot to play second, and Luis Renfigo moved to right field. The 27-year-old put up great numbers at Triple-A Salt Lake and was getting an opportunity with the Angels, making his injury even more unfortunate. Fantasy managers should look for further news after the game.
