Red Sox Still Seeking Top-10 Prospect From Twins
5 years agoThe Boston Red Sox are still seeking a top-10 prospect from the Minnesota Twins in addition to pitcher Brusdar Graterol in the three-team blockbuster deal that would include Mookie Betts and starting pitcher David Price going to the Dodgers. So far, the Twins have balked at this request. Boston's concerns over Graterol's medicals have held up this deal that was agreed to on Tuesday night. The Red Sox believe Graterol, the Twins No. 3 prospect, is a reliever long term instead of a starter. The trade is more likely than not to happen still, but there are obviously more details that need to be worked out. Pitcher Kenta Maeda will also be sent from the Dodgers to the Twins in this deal. Stay tuned for more updates.
