Patriots Host Will Levis On A Visit Wednesday
2 years agoThe New England Patriots hosted University of Kentucky quarterback Will Levis on a top-30 visit on the final day that teams were allowed on Wednesday, according to a source. It's part of the Patriots' due diligence to prepare for any scenario in next week's NFL draft. They have the 14th overall pick in the first round. The visit with Levis, viewed as one of the top-five QBs in this year's draft, came a day after new offensive coordinator Bill O'Brien said the offense will have "a fresh start, a clean slate" in his first year in New England. Mac Jones had a solid rookie season, but he was bad in 2022, and head coach Bill Belichick has hesitated to call him the starter this offseason. However, there's a strong chance Levis is already taken by the time the Pats pick at No. 14.
