Brian Robinson Jr. Sees Role Diminished In Week 3 Win
Brian Robinson Jr. handled just two carries for 22 yards in the team's Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson played the change-of-pace role in Weeks 1 and 2, garnering snap shares of 25% and 22% and seeing nine and six rushes, respectively. On Sunday, he was all but forgotten, seeing the field for just five of the team's 65 offensive snaps. He didn't see a single target. His first carry of the day didn't come until the third quarter, and the second, a 19-yard pickup representing the bulk of his production, came halfway through the fourth quarter. Robinson's fantasy value at this point is solely as a handcuff for superstar Christian McCaffrey, who, with a league-leading 77 touches through three games, looks as healthy as ever.
