CeeDee Lamb's Injury Not on Extreme End, Still No Timetable
CeeDee Lamb (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday against the Bears, but on Tuesday, team owner Jerry Jones said his injury isn't considered "on the extreme end." However, Lamb still does not have an exact timeline. The team could still opt to place Lamb on IR, but a report on Monday from Ian Rapoport said that Lamb is expected to miss two games but not land on IR. That would line up with Jones' statements on Tuesday, and could put Lamb on track to return in Week 6 against the Panthers or possibly Week 7 against the rival Commanders in a home divisional matchup. While Lamb is out, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson will need to step up and take more targets, along with potentially larger roles for KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert as well.
