Wil Lutz was one of the most consistent fantasy kickers in 2024, making 31 of his 34 field-goal attempts and all 46 of his extra-point tries in 17 games to put him as the No. 7 fantasy kicker. Since having the potential game-winning kick blocked in Week 10 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Lutz has gone 13-for-13 on field goals and 27-for-27 on his extra-point attempts in seven games, so he's bringing a nice perfect streak into the wild-card playoff game in Buffalo against the Bills on Sunday. While the 30-year-old has been money for the Broncos, we'd suggest fading him on the road in frigid temperatures at Orchard Park in a game in which Denver is nearly 10-point underdogs. In addition, Buffalo allowed the third-fewest fantasy points per game (5.9) to opposing kickers in 17 games this season.

Philadelphia Eagles kicker
Jake Elliott wrapped up the regular season with a mixed performance, converting two of three field-goal attempts and nailing both extra points in the Week 18 victory over the Giants. Elliott's lone miss was from 39 yards, marking his first misstep inside 50 yards all season. As the Eagles prepare for the playoffs, Elliott's fantasy relevance will remain tied to the effectiveness of Philadelphia's high-powered offense. The more opportunities the offense creates, the greater Elliott's potential for meaningful production. With the Eagles boasting one of the league's most potent attacks, Elliott could find himself in key scoring situations against the Packers in the Wild Card round. Count on him as a reliable option if Philadelphia's offense is clicking.

The New York Jets interviewed Maryland head coach Mike Locksley for their head-coaching position on Friday, according to sources. Locksley was previously the offensive coordinator for Alabama and will get another head-coaching interview, although he should be considered a long shot for the job with the Jets leaving no stone unturned in their search. Locksley has gone 35-67 as a head coach at the collegiate level, although he's gone 32-36 over the last seven seasons for the Terps. The 55-year-old interviewed for the Miami Dolphins' head-coach opening back in 2022 before the Dolphins hired Mike McDaniel. He's the only one of the Jets' candidates that comes from the college ranks, but Locksley has developed a reputation for being a culture-builder. As the offensive coordinator in Alabama in 2018, the Crimson Tide set single-season records for points scored and total offense with a stacked roster.

Zane Gonzalez is a risky play in DFS formats this weekend, facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Gonzalez has been tasked to replace the injured
Austin Seibert (groin) and has gone 5-for-7 on attempts and perfect on extra points. Both of his missed attempts came from over 40 yards out. Over the past two weeks, Gonzales has only attempted one field goal per game, as the Commanders have been very efficient in the red zone. However, he has made five extra points over this stretch. Despite playing on a high-octane offense, given his struggles from deeper rangers, he is best to leave off of your DFS lineup as he is one of the least-proven kickers in the playoffs.

Baltimore Ravens kicker
Justin Tucker has had his well-documented issues this season but has been a bit more reliable since their bye week in Week 14. In that span, he's gone 18-for-18 in extra points and 3-for-3 in his field goal tries. His rough season can't be forgotten, which is what makes him more of a mid-level option rather than the elite fantasy asset that he used to be. Against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, Tucker has a solid ceiling but a lower floor.

Cameron Dicker is an excellent fantasy option on Wild Card Weekend against the Houston Texans. Dicker was one of the most reliable and consistent kickers throughout the regular season, and he ended the season with a pair of top-five kicking performances in Weeks 17 and 18. In what should be a close game, Dicker can be expected to be given several chances to put up points. The regular season's third-ranked fantasy kicker should remain in the top tier for the playoffs.

Ka'imi Fairbairn will face a difficult matchup in Round 1 of the NFL playoffs when his team plays host to the Los Angeles Chargers on wild-card weekend. L.A. is one of the stronger teams against fantasy kickers, ranking seventh, but the bigger concern has been the offense to which Fairbairn is attached. The Houston offense has averaged a paltry 15.6 points across its past five games prior to the playoffs, which included the offense failing to score on Christmas Day against Baltimore. The Texans' recent performances and a Chargers defense that ranks fourth in scoring percentage allowed do not bode well for the veteran kicker. Fantasy managers in playoff formats should look for a stronger matchup elsewhere.

The Tennessee Titans requested an interview with Chicago Bears assistant general manager Ian Cunningham for their vacant general manager opening, according to sources. Cunningham was a finalist for the Titans' GM job two years ago, too, before they decided on Ran Carthon. He has worked in the Bears offense since 2022 and also interviewed for the Washington Commanders' GM opening last year before that opening went to Adam Peters. If Cunningham leaves for a GM job this offseason, the Bears would receive two third-round picks over the next two NFL drafts. During his time in Chicago, Cunningham has been a vital part of the team's front office and has been GM Ryan Poles' right-hand man. "I am blessed out of my socks to have him by my side that is not a yes man," Poles said of Cunningham last year. "We would not be where we are today without Ian being an incredible partner."

The Tennessee Titans requested permission to interview Seattle Seahawks senior director of player personnel Matt Berry and Miami Dolphins senior personnel executive Reggie McKenzie for the general manager role, according to a source. Berry joined Seattle's front office in 2008 and has mostly focused on college scouting in his time there. McKenzie has previous GM experience with the Las Vegas Raiders. Berry served in the role of director of college scouting from 2015-22 in Seattle. The Titans fired former GM Ran Carthon just two days ago and are prioritizing candidates with heavy scouting backgrounds. McKenzie has been with Miami since 2019 and was the GM for the Raiders for seven seasons while also serving as the director of football operations for the Green Bay Packers when Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker was there.

Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has declined an interview request from the New England Patriots for their head-coach opening, according to sources. Instead, Glenn will interview for the other five head-coaching openings around the league -- the Raiders, Saints, Jets, Bears and Jaguars -- over the next few days. Glenn is one of the top head-coaching candidates available during this coaching cycle and was also a three-time Pro Bowler as a defensive back as a player in the NFL. He's in his fourth year as Detroit's defensive coordinator, and the Lions ranked seventh in points allowed per game (20.1) and fifth in rushing yards allowed per game (94.4) in 2024. The Patriots are widely expected to choose Mike Vrabel, a former linebacker with New England, as their next head coach after firing Jerod Mayo after just one season on the job.

The Athletic's Vic Tafur reports that the Las Vegas Raiders currently don't have an interview set up to interview former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel for their head-coach job. Raiders minority owner
Tom Brady and former New England Patriots quarterback reportedly wants to get Vrabel in for an interview after the team fired Antonio Pierce earlier this week, but no interview is scheduled for Vrabel, who is believed to be the overwhelming favorite to become the next head coach of the Patriots. Brady and Vrabel played together in New England from 2001-08 and won three Super Bowl rings together. Vrabel won Coach of the Year in 2021 and went 54-45 from 2018-23 while reaching the playoffs three times as the head coach of the Titans, which is why he's one of the most popular head-coaching candidates this cycle.

The New Orleans Saints announced on Thursday that they completed a virtual interview with New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka for their head-coach position. On Wednesday, the Saints held an interview with Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. Kafka was an assistant head coach to Brian Daboll in New York and has been with the G-Men for the last three seasons. After calling the plays on offense last year, Daboll took back over play-calling in another frustrating season in 2024. In addition the Saints, Kafka is set to interview for the Chicago Bears' head-coaching job. Before joining the Giants, Kafka worked for four years as the Kansas City Chiefs' quarterbacks coach. Other candidates for the Saints' head-coaching job include Aaron Glenn, Kellen Moore, Joe Brady, Kliff Kingsbury, Mike Vrabel and Darren Rizzi.

Chris Boswell (illness) is off the injury report for Saturday's playoff game. The veteran kicker popped up on the injury report on Wednesday and remained a non-participant on Thursday. However, the team has already cleared him and he does not carry a designation into the weekend. The 33-year-old did not miss a game all season and held a strong 93.2% conversion rate on field goal attempts and a perfect rate on extra points. He missed only one attempt on field goals from within 49 yards out. Fantasy managers should view Boswell as a solid option for DFS formats, as he has averaged 11.2 PPR points per game this season.

This move comes days after head coach Antonio Pierce was relieved of his duties. Telesco was hired last offseason following 11 seasons as the GM of the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they have requested permission to interview Kansas City Chiefs head coach Steve Spagnuolo for their head-coaching vacancy. In addition to the Jaguars, Spagnuolo has also received requests to interview for head-coaching positions with the New York Jets and Las Vegas Raiders. Spags has won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs the last two years and is in his sixth season as their defensive coordinator. In 2024, the Chiefs defense ranked fourth in points allowed and ninth in total yards allowed after the team finished second in both categories. The veteran defensive coach has won four Super Bowl rings in his career and also served as the Los Angeles Rams head coach from 2009-11 and the New York Giants interim head coach for four games in 2017, so he comes with plenty of experience in the league.
