Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) remained a limited participant during Thursday's practice. Fantasy managers should keep a close eye on his status on Friday. If he is unable to upgrade to full participation, he may carry a questionable tag into Sunday's conference championship. Last weekend, during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions, Zacchaeus could not catch any of his two targets. During the wild-card round, Zaccheaus caught three passes for 19 yards. However, during the final three weeks of the regular season, Zacchaeus was a key part of the Washington air attack, averaging 68.7 yards per game with five receptions per contest and three touchdowns.
Dyami Brown has surpassed him as the No.2 option on the depth chart, but Zaccheaus still carries flex value in DFS at a much lower price.

Washington Commanders defensive lineman Daron Payne (knee, finger) was listed as a non-participant for his team's practice on Wednesday. The former first-round pick had been battling through a finger injury he suffered in Washington's Wild Card win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He'd also pick up a knee issue in last Saturday's stunning upset of the Detroit Lions. While the finger ailment caused him to practice in a limited capacity the week prior, this new injury has forced him from practice altogether. Payne has missed just one game in his seven-year career, so we'll see if he can elevate his practice status for Sunday's divisional clash with the Philadelphia Eagles. If he's inactive, look for Jalyn Holmes and Sheldon Day to rotate in behind Jonathan Allen.

Olamide Zaccheaus (hip) put in a limited practice in the first session of the week on Wednesday. Zaccheaus had to come out of the Divisional Round win on Saturday against the Detroit Lions briefly with a hip ailment, but he was able to return and finish out the game. The 27-year-old was targeted only once in the upset victory but didn't come down with a catch. As long as he doesn't have any setbacks the next two days, Zaccheaus should be available for Washington as they look to punch their ticket to the Super Bowl by beating the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship game on Sunday. Zaccheaus had one catch for 10 yards in the first meeting with the Eagles on Nov. 14, but he went off for five catches, 70 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in the second meeting on Dec. 22. He'll be a boom/bust DFS sleeper play at the receiver position this weekend.

Zach Ertz (rib, rest) was listed as a non-participant on the team's practice report on Wednesday. Ertz was also listed as a DNP last Tuesday before being limited on Wednesday and full on Thursday. The 34-year-old veteran was active in the Divisional Round win over the Detroit Lions last Saturday night and caught all five of his targets for 28 yards and his fourth touchdown in the last four games. As long as he's able to return to practice later this week, Ertz should be on the field this Sunday in Philadelphia for the NFC Championship against the division-rival Eagles. In the most recent meeting against Philly on Dec. 22, Ertz had only one catch on two targets for 12 yards, but in the first meeting on Nov. 14, he caught six of seven targets for 47 yards and a touchdown. Consider him a touchdown-dependent TE play in DFS lineups this weekend.

Washington Commanders linebacker Bobby Wagner (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday. Wagner was limited in practice last week with an ankle injury and ultimately played in the Divisional Round. As a 13-year veteran, Wagner does not necessarily need practice reps to be able to play. His injury also did not seem to limit him against the Detroit Lions last week as he recorded eight total tackles. The 13-year veteran should be monitored by Commanders fans to see if he records any practice time and is able to enter the weekend without an injury designation. While the Commanders have been excellent during their current playoff run, they will need Wagner in a matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles and their seemingly unstoppable running game. In addition to Wagner, defensive end Clelin Ferrell (knee, rest) and defensive tackle Daron Payne (finger, knee) also missed practice.

ESPN's Adam Schefter said on the Pat McAfee Show on Monday that Washington Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury is "not rushing to become a head coach again." A recent report suggested that Kingsbury will not interview for any head-coaching jobs around the league until the Commanders are eliminated from the postseason, and most of the head-coach jobs may be filled by then anyways. Schefter also says that he thinks Kingsbury is happy in D.C. and has an incredible young quarterback in rookie
Jayden Daniels to work with. Kingsbury's head-coaching tenure with the Arizona Cardinals didn't go so well, so he may not be rushing to become a head coach again so quickly, especially since he's still being paid by Arizona. The most alluring head-coach job (if it's still open) for Kingsbury will no doubt be with the Dallas Cowboys.

Washington Commanders right guard Sam Cosmi (knee) has been diagnosed with an ACL injury and will not return during the playoffs, head coach Dan Quinn announced Sunday. Cosmi suffered the injury during Saturday's Divisional Round victory over the Detroit Lions. The 25-year-old was an anchor on the offensive line this season, playing essentially every snap while providing impressive protection and leadership. When confirming Cosmi's injury, Quinn noted, "That's a big deal, the ballplayer and the man." Trent Scott is expected to operate as the Commanders' primary right guard going forward.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Washington Commanders right guard Sam Cosmi (knee) is set to undergo an MRI on his right knee. The 25-year-old sustained this knee injury during their victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. Cosmi suffered this injury during the second quarter and needed assistance to leave the field. He was replaced by Trent Scott. Fantasy managers should continue monitoring his status, but he will likely face an uphill battle to be ready for the NFC title game next weekend. Scott would continue to see starting opportunities on the offensive line while Cosmi is sidelined. Despite the Commanders scoring 45 points on Saturday evening, Cosmi's absence will be felt in the conference championship.

Zach Ertz (concussion) caught all five of his targets for 28 yards and a score during their victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. Ertz left the game briefly in the first half while being evaluated for a concussion. However, shortly after returning, Ertz would find the back of the end zone on a five-yard strike from
Jayden Daniels. This was a nice bounce back showing for the veteran tight end as he caught just two passes for 23 yards during their wild-card victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During the final seven weeks of the regular season, Ertz tallied an impressive six touchdowns. Despite his low-yardage outputs, the 34-year-old remains a solid TE1, given his usage in the red zone.

Terry McLaurin caught four of his six targets for 87 yards and a score during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. McLaurin's best play of the evening came on a screen pass, which he took for a 58-yard score. Later in the fourth quarter, McLaurin would catch a crucial fourth down reception to keep a Washington drive alive. The 29-year-old has now found the back of the end zone in each of his previous three games. Last weekend, during their wild-card victory, McLaurin caught seven of his ten targets for 89 yards and a score. The former Ohio State Buckeye carries elite WR1 upside throughout the remainder of the postseason.

Dyami Brown caught six of his eight targets for 98 yards during their upset victory over the top-seeded Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. Brown's targets, receptions, and yards all led the team. Brown's longest reception of the day went for 42 yards. The 25-year-old has now seen at least four targets in each of his previous three games and tallied at least 89 in each of his past two. Last weekend, during their wild-card victory, Brown tied
Terry McLaurin for the most receiving yards on the team (89) and found the back of the end zone. During the regular season, Brown averaged a mere 19.3 yards per game. Given his current role in the Washington offense, Brown carries WR2 upside heading into the NFC Championship Game.

Jeremy McNichols punched in a goal line score during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. McNichols ran the ball only four times but was able to seal the victory with a late one-yard TD run in the fourth quarter. He finished the game with just eight yards on the ground and was not targeted in the passing attack. While McNichols had a similar role to what he did during the wild-card game, it is promising to see him occasionally receive opportunities in scoring positions. Given his depth role in the Washington offense, he remains a high-risk play in DFS formats during the Championship round.

Austin Ekeler tallied 47 yards on six attempts during their victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. Ekeler added 41 yards on four receptions in the receiving game. Ekeler flashed his breakaway speed all evening as his longest run went for 35 yards, and his reception went for 24 yards. Even though Ekeler was not as involved in the rushing attack, given the high-scoring affair, Ekeler was able to make a significant impact in the receiving game. Ekeler also saw four targets during their wild-card victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers suggesting he has a prominent role in the team's passing attack. Ekeler carries RB2 upside heading into the NFC Championship match.

Brian Robinson Jr. found the back of the end zone twice during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions on Saturday evening. Robinson punched in two scores at the goal line, one in the second quarter and the other in the fourth. Robinson finished the evening with 77 yards on 15 attempts. His 15 attempts were the second-most on the team, only behind
Jayden Daniels. He was not targeted in the passing game. After averaging an underwhelming 35.0 rushing yards per game over his previous five games, the Alabama product found his footing at the perfect time. During the first ten games of his season, he averaged a strong 64.0 rushing yards per game. Robinson carries RB2 upside heading into the NFC Championship.

Jayden Daniels went 22-for-31 with 299 passing yards and two scores in their upset victory over the top-seeded Detroit Lions. Daniels added 51 yards on 16 rushing attempts. Daniels found his top wideout,
Terry McLaurin, on a 58-yard TD strike in the second quarter. He would then find his tight end,
Zach Ertz, on a five-yard TD pass later in the quarter. The rookie targeted his No.2 wideout
Dyami Brown the most often but spread the ball around as four pass-catchers caught at least four passes. The former No.2 overall pick continues to produce at an elite level, no matter the size of the stage. He remains a high-end QB1 heading into the NFC Championship Game, where he will face either the Philadelphia Eagles or Los Angeles Rams.
