Not Looking Good For Ryan Griffin In Week 16
3 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh said that tight end Ryan Griffin (knee) is dealing with a knee injury and isn't looking good for Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Griffin played a season-low 39% of the offensive snaps while getting injured in the Week 15 loss to the Miami Dolphins, and he finished the game with only two catches for 39 yards. Tyler Kroft, who also caught both of his targets on Sunday for 35 yards, figures to serve as the Jets top pass-catching tight end if Griffin cannot play this weekend. Kroft returned in Week 15 after a five-week absence due to a chest injury that he suffered in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts. There are more targets available in the passing game with receivers Elijah Moore and Corey Davis on Injured Reserve, but fantasy managers should be able to do better than Kroft in deep two-TE leagues.
