No Timetable For Clay Buchholz
6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Clay Buchholz (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain of his teres major muscle, which is located in the upper back and right shoulder area. He's scheduled to receive a second opinion this week from Dr. James Andrews, but there is currently no timetable for his return. It's looking like he'll miss significant time if the original diagnosis is confirmed. Out for the foreseeable future, Buchholz can safely be dropped in most leagues now. The veteran right-hander was 0-2 with a 6.57 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 12 strikeouts in 24 2/3 innings in his five starts for Toronto.
