7 months agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Nick Tropeano (shoulder) said he had a setback with his right shoulder in December and just recently resumed light throwing. That means he's unlikely to be ready for Opening Day after initially being a candidate for a rotation spot. The 28-year-old also missed all of the 2017 season due to injury and made only 14 starts last year, going 5-6 with a poor 4.74 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 7.6 K/9 in a career-high 76 innings. At this point, the Angels can't count on Tropeano for much, meaning fantasy owners should avoid him until he proves he can make an impact.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
