Miguel Rojas Dealing With Neck Tightness
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas (neck) left Wednesday night's game early against the Cincinnati Reds with neck tightness. Before leaving, Rojas went 0-for-2 with a strikeout to drop his season average to a mere .216. Chris Taylor moved from left field to the 6 to replace Rojas in the ballgame. The Dodgers should have an update on the 34-year-old's status on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. With a matinee contest coming in the series finale against the Reds on Thursday, it's likely that we won't see Rojas in the lineup. Entering Wednesday's game, Rojas was hitting just .220 (27-for-123) with no home runs, six RBI and three steals in 38 games in his first year in LA. Obviously, Rojas isn't much of a fantasy option.
