2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that infielder Max Muncy (hamstring) is out of the lineup on Tuesday against the Chicago White Sox because of a left-hamstring strain that he suffered while running to first base in his last at-bat on Sunday. Muncy will have an MRI exam on Wednesday and won't be in the lineup until at least Thursday. If the 32-year-old left-handed slugger isn't back by the series finale against Chicago on Thursday, there's a chance he'll be placed on the injured list. He's hitting a disappointing .191 (40-for-209) on the season, but the two-time All-Star has also added a useful 18 home runs, 45 RBI and 39 runs scored in 60 games played. In his absence on Tuesday, Chris Taylor is starting at third base and batting ninth against White Sox right-hander Lance Lynn.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
