6 months agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado popped two solo homers in Thursday’s loss to the Colorado Rockies. He also contributed an RBI single for a successful night at the dish in five plate appearances. The long balls take his season total to 12 and he’s slashing a pedestrian .247/.333/.425 with 69 runs-plus-RBI. Machado has surely been a fantasy disappointment in his inaugural NL campaign but there’s still plenty of baseball remaining. Even with his price tag, Machado could be a solid DFS option all weekend in Coors Field where he’s enjoyed an .877 OPS in 11 career games.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
