Luke McCaffrey Carries Momentum Into Expanded Role Sunday
Luke McCaffrey should handle an expanded role during Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Atlanta Falcons. The Commanders' receiving corps is somewhat short-staffed at the moment, with Terry McLaurin (quad) and Noah Brown (groin, knee) both sidelined. Thus, McCaffrey, Chris Moore, and rookie Jaylin Lane will all have a chance to carve out expanded roles on Sunday afternoon. Of course, all three receivers will also be competing for volume with Deebo Samuel Sr. and Zach Ertz. McCaffrey may have a slight advantage over Moore and Lane, given his performance in Week 3. The Rice product caught three passes for 56 yards and his first career touchdown, albeit in garbage time. He's only an intriguing streaming option in very deep fantasy leagues, ranking as RotoBaller's WR78 this week.
