Philadelphia Phillies left-handed reliever Jose Alvarado (elbow) will come off the injured list on Friday. Alvarado will return to the Phillies bullpen after missing the last four weeks with left-elbow inflammation. The 28-year-old Venezuelan southpaw allowed two runs and four hits in his two minor-league rehab appearances, but he should return to a high-leverage role in the Phillies bullpen now that he's back to full health. Before his injury, Alvarado was one of the most dominant relievers in baseball with a 0.63 ERA (0.85 FIP), 0.63 WHIP, five saves, no walks and 24 strikeouts in 14 1/3 innings of work. While he may be eased into save chances, Alvarado absolutely deserves to be rostered in all fantasy formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
