6 years agoOakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said wide receiver Griff Whalen (toe) is dealing with turf toe and could miss a couple of weeks. He's not expected to be ready for Week 1 against the Rams and is a candidate for an injury settlement. Whalen's emergence may have made Ryan Switzer (traded to the Steelers) expendable. However, even if healthy, Whalen would be no better than fifth on the depth chart behind Amari Cooper, Jordy Nelson, Martavis Bryant and Seth Roberts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
