2 years agoThe Atlanta Falcons took University of Texas running back Bijan Robinson with the eighth overall pick in Round 1 of Thursday night's NFL draft. "Bijan's more than a running back. He's an impact football player," head coach Arthur Smith said. "We just feel he's an explosive weapon. He's a home run hitter however he gets the football in his hands." Tyler Allgeier set the team's rookie rushing record in 2022 with 1,035 yards and will be much cheaper than Robinson, but his fantasy stock is all but toast with Robinson now in town. Robinson has a quick-twitch, elusive running style that the Falcons expect to complement the more bruising style of Allgeier, who Smith said is still "a very important part of this offense."--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
