Edward Cabrera to Return on Tuesday
Edward Cabrera (elbow) will return from the 15-day injured list to start on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies, manager Clayton McCullough announced. Cabrera has been shelved for all of September with a sprained elbow, but he'll take the ball at least one more time before the season ends. The 27-year-old has made a career-high 24 starts this season and gone 7-7 with a 3.57 ERA, a 1.21 WHIP, and 140:42 K:BB in 128 2/3 innings. Cabrera faced the Phillies on June 19 and surrendered a mere one run on two hits in 6 1/3 frames, but he didn't factor into the decision in a Marlins loss.
