8/16:Free-agent wide receiver Dez Bryant sounded optimistic about getting a deal done with the Cleveland Browns after a visit on Thursday, according to a league source. Bryant is hoping to sign a one-year, "prove-it" deal to re-establish himself as a Pro Bowl receiver. Bryant hasn't looked like a Pro Bowl receiver in several years and led the NFL in drops in 2017, so fantasy owners want to see it before they believe it. He'd have some opportunity in Cleveland if he were to sign, with Josh Gordon yet to report to camp and rookie Antonio Callaway dealing with off-field issues. Still, Bryant would merely be a late-round flier for wide receiver depth.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
