2 years agoLos Angeles Chargers safety Derwin James (quadriceps) missed practice on Friday and is doubtful to play in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football. James was unable to get on the practice field at all this week and is highly unlikely to be active in Week 14. It's terrible timing for the 26-year-old and the Chargers defense with the high-flying offense of the Dolphins coming to town. It's good news for must-start wideouts Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. With James headed for an absence on Sunday, defensive backs JT Woods and Alohi Gilman will be asked to play more snaps in a big game for the Bolts in primetime. James is the top fantasy safety in IDP leagues, so managers will need to go in another direction at the position this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
