1 year agoFree-agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins visited with the New England Patriots on Thursday, and barring an unexpected turn, both sides are expected to take some time to assess their next steps, according to a source familiar with the visit. The 31-year-old is in no rush to sign and has considered waiting until closer to training camp in late July to make a move. Hopkins, who has reportedly received an offer from the Tennessee Titans, is intrigued by the possibility of playing for Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. Especially with JuJu Smith-Schuster still nursing a knee injury suffered in the playoffs last year, Hopkins would be a massive upgrade to the Pats' passing game in 2023. Landing in New England would probably be the best spot for Hopkins' fantasy value as well, where he'd be an easy top-25 wideout.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
