New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson continued to serve as the team's lead back despite losing a fumble on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. He now has three lost fumbles in three games. Despite his ball security issues and inefficiency (he averaged 2.0 yards per carry in Week 5), Stevenson continues to see the field for more than half of the offensive snaps. New England's coaching staff has shown no interest in making a change to the backfield, with head coach Mike Vrabel even noting before Week 5 that they stuck with Drake Maye through some turnover adversity, and they're going to have Stevenson's back, too. We'd all like to see him get back to his 2022 form, but the fact of the matter is that rookie TreVeyon Henderson has looked better than Stevenson and therefore seems more deserving of the lead-back role. We could see a shift in dynamic by the end of the year, but for now, the Patriots are sticking with the 27-year-old.--Andersen Pickard
