2 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Chase Claypool (knee) was not on the practice field on Wednesday. It's a bit strange to see coming off the team's bye in Week 14. Claypool was briefly listed on the Week 13 injury report before playing against the Green Bay Packers and catching five of his six targets for only 28 yards. Head coach Matt Eberflus admitted that Claypool is still learning the offense after being acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers at the trade deadline in November. In his first five games with the Bears, Claypool has only 12 receptions on 22 targets for 111 yards and no touchdowns. Chicago will continue making a concerted effort to involve him in the offense more, especially without Darnell Mooney (ankle), but until that happens, the 24-year-old will be a shaky fantasy flex option.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
