5 months agoWashington Nationals infielder Brian Dozier may be the odd-man out to start when the team opens up their postseason against the Dodgers. Trea Turner and Anthony Rendon clearly man one side of the infield with resurgent veterans Asdrubal Cabrera and Howie Kendrick vying for time on the other side. This leaves the veteran Dozier, who has seen only 31 at-bats last month, looking at pinch-hitting duty at best. Long gone are the days of Dozier popping 30-plus home runs and the veteran will be looking at a bench role when the NLDS kicks off on Thursday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
