2023 Draft Class Considered Weak Overall
2 years agoA common theme that ESPN's Dan Graziano is hearing in 2023 is that this isn't a very good draft class in general. NFL teams are usually asked how many first-round grades they have on players, and in most years the answers fall in the 21-25 range. This year, however, there are a lot of 14s, 15s, 16s and even lower in a couple of cases. It's a rough year for draft prospects in 2023, especially at the wide receiver position. There will still be some receivers drafted in the first round on Thursday night, but many teams are skeptical of finding instant-impact solutions at the wideout position in this year's draft. It's why the Pittsburgh Steelers traded for Allen Robinson II, who has caught 71 passes the last two years.
