ANALYSIS: Cincinnati Reds infielder Noelvi Marte is currently serving an 80-game suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs). Marte originally tested positive for a type of steroid on March 8, which has kept him out through the start of the season. However, the 22-year-old is now just one month away from potentially making his season debut.

It remains to be seen what the Reds plan to do with Marte once he is officially reinstated by MLB on June 27 against the St. Louis Cardinals., but there's a great chance he immediately joins the big league club. That makes him a potential stash in 12-plus team leagues heading into Week 9.
Marte made his major league debut in late August last season and showed a ton of potential in a small sample size. He hit .316 with three home runs, seven doubles, six steals, and 15 RBI across 35 games. His ability to also play third base and shortstop should help him get consistent playing time on a struggling Reds' offense. He is MLB Pipeline's No. 29 prospect, and fantasy managers should begin to stash him before he makes his season debut next month.
