DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Yoshinobu Yamamoto, SP - LAD ($9,900 DK/$10,300 FD)
Going against Garrett Crochet at the top of the pitching pantheon is a tough one tonight, but the argument can be made that Yoshinobu Yamamoto's matchup outstrips Crochet's enough that the latter deserves the title. In addition, Yamamoto's price tag is $1,600 cheaper on DK and $700 less on FD which makes him way more palatable.
Crochet will head to Houston to face the Astros, who are likely to throw out nine righties against him. Yamamoto takes on the Angels who still have the highest K rate in the league against RHP, and they're not likely to be able to get more than two lefties in there. This matchup is prime.
Yamamoto has a 29.2% CSW this year which just edges out Crochet's mark of 29.1%, and the righty-heavy lineup from the Angels should boost that mark up over 30% tonight. The cards have been laid out, and my choice is made.
Will Warren, SP - NYY ($7,500 DK/$8,700 FD)
Whichever way you go for SP1, you'll need a cheaper SP2. The DFS sites have consistently underpriced Will Warren all season long, and I'm taking advantage every time he takes the hill. Warren has filled in admirably at the back end of the Yankees' rotation, posting a 3.61 FIP and 26.2% K rate.
The Twins are tough to gauge as far as how to attack from a K perspective since they've had so much roster turnover, but their IRT of 3.7 in a hitters' park like Yankee Stadium favors Warren. They may be able to get 5-6 lefties in there against him, but Kody Clemens is the only one that offers any consistent power threat. Warren is a phenomenal SP2 in all formats.
Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
- Nathan Eovaldi, SP - TEX ($10,200 DK/$10,500 FD)
- Logan Webb, SP - SF ($9,700 DK/$10,200 FD)
- Chris Paddack, SP - DET ($6,800 DK/$8,500 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Nick Kurtz, 1B - ATH ($6,200 DK/$4,200 FD)
Another day, another "Jamie man-crushing on Nick Kurtz" blurb. The A's return home to Sutter Health Park and all its Triple-A hitting glory, and the weather is expected to be hot. The Athletics are sporting an IRT of 4.9 runs, and Kurtz's platoon power keeps him firmly at the top of my hitter ranks for today.
The Rays will throw out Ryan Pepiot who actually struggles more in the reverse split, but it just doesn't matter where Kurtz is concerned. The rookie first baseman has crushed RHP for a .486 wOBA, .376 ISO, and 48.5% HHR. He has a 1.015 OPS on the season, and is on cruise control for Rookie of the Year.
Junior Caminero, 3B - TB ($5,500 DK/$3,400 FD)
The Rays are the lucky team that gets to travel to Sutter Health Park, so we'll be rocking their righties all over the place here as well. Full disclosure - from a platoon power standpoint, Yandy Diaz is probably a better play than Junior Caminero, but I wanted to give you some positional diversity here. Plus Caminero is a freakin' stud.

The Rays' third baseman is having a sensational year with 32 homers, 80 RBI, and and .817 OPS. He's also on a tear right now with seven hits and four homers in his last four games, and will face Jeffrey Springs who has a 32.1% GB rate and 12% HR/FB rate. Caminero has a .242 ISO against LHP, so his power plays well here.
Nick Gonzales, 2B - PIT ($3,400 DK/$2,800 FD)
How's this for a cheap, under-the-radar guy? Nobody is looking Pittsburgh's way these days unless they're in Coors Field, but Nick Gonzales actually plays well in this matchup. The Pirates are getting a park boost going to Milwaukee, and will face Jose Quintana and his 4.72 FIP and 16.6% K rate.
Gonzales is not a multi-homer threat for GPPs, but he fits the mold of cash value perfectly. He'll get a premier spot in the order (projected to hit cleanup), and he has a .361 wOBA and 131 wRC+ against LHP. The Brewers' bullpen looms, but Gonzales is cheap enough to mitigate that downside.
- Yandy Diaz, 1B - TB ($5,000 DK/$3,000 FD)
- Bobby Witt Jr., SS - KC ($5,900 DK/$4,100 FD)
- Warming Bernabel, 1B - COL ($3,200 DK/$2,900 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Brent Rooker, OF - ATH ($5,700 DK/$3,700 FD)
Remember that whole "Pepiot is worse against righties" thing from above? Well, this is where you attack. Brent Rooker is a legit nightmare for opposing pitchers, and Pepiot has allowed a .343 wOBA and 1.86 HR/9 to same-handed hitters. Rooker is just fine against RHP, with a .371 wOBA and .242 ISO.
The A's righty has been smoking lately with four multi-hit games in his last six. He's worth paying up for in cash if you can, and should be included in all A's GPP stacks (even with Kurtz).

Jarren Duran, OF - BOS ($4,800 DK/$3,400 FD)
The Red Sox are traveling to Houston for a pivotal series for both teams. Christian Javier will make his 2025 debut for the Astros, and he's an incredibly significant "splits pitcher" who terrorizes righties but struggles against southpaws. Expect some heavy rust and a pitch count, and Jarren Duran is still not fully priced as he's returning to 2024 form.
Duran should hit cleanup for the Red Sox which will give him ample opportunity for runs and RBIs. He has a .384 wOBA and .246 ISO against RHP this season, and his speed (82 SBs since the beginning of 2023) adds significantly to his upside in this matchup.
Trent Grisham, OF - NYY ($4,200 DK/$2,900 FD)
As a Yankee fan, I don't see a future for Trent Grisham here with their overloaded outfield, but if this is his last season in NY he's certainly going out with a bang. His ISO of .220 is a career-high, and his walk rate is up while his K rate is down 7% from 2024. He's entrenched himself as the Yanks' leadoff hitter, and he's going to be rewarded by some team in 2026.

The Yankees remain at home where they'll face Zebby Matthews who is a big-time K threat. However, in his short career he's been battered by LHB for a .374 wOBA and 2.23 HR/9, a stat that will not play well in Yankee Stadium. Grisham has a .351 wOBA and .238 ISO against RHP, and the Twins' bullpen traded away everyone good.
Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
- Aaron Judge, OF - NYY ($6,400 DK/$4,700 FD)
- Roman Anthony, OF - BOS ($4,300 DK/$3,000 FD)
- Alec Burleson, 1B/OF - STL ($4,100 DK/$2,900 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
1. Athletics vs Ryan Pepiot
With no Coors Field to deal with, the top game stack takes place between the Rays and Athletics at Sutter Health Park. The Triple-A dimensions and hot weather could cause this game to shoot over its 10-run O/U, and the A's have an IRT of 4.9 runs. Ryan Pepiot is a reverse-split pitcher, but there's power upside up and down the order.
Favorite Combo: Kurtz, Rooker, Langeliers, Soderstrom
2. Tampa Bay Rays vs Jeffrey Springs
The Rays are right behind their opponents in IRT with a 4.7, and they have two immense power righties in Yandy Diaz and Junior Caminero with which to attack Jeffrey Springs. There are enough complementary bats to build around these two in Rays stacks while keeping the salary down, and remember they don't have to deal with Mason Miller at all in the latter innings.
Favorite Combo: Diaz, Caminero, Kim, Lowe
3. St. Louis Cardinals vs Chase Dollander
The Cardinals got no writeups in this article, but they deserve some recognition for a potential cheap, behind-the-scenes stack. Their players' prices are very affordable, and they get a solid matchup in hot weather. Chase Dollander returns for the Rockies, and he's been batting practice for all opponents this year. He's walked over four batters per nine, has a 5.96 FIP, and has allowed a whopping 18.3% HR/FB rate.
Favorite Combo: Donovan, Herrera, Burleson, Contreras
