Mid-Week Waiver Wire Rankings - Fantasy Baseball Pickups Include Logan Henderson, Matt Shaw, Jake Burger, Robert Hassell, David Bednar, Nick Kurtz

Logan Henderson - Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Rankings, MLB DFS, MLB Injuries

Mid-week fantasy baseball waiver wire rankings for Week 8 (2025). Free-agent hitters and pitchers to add include Logan Henderson, Matt Shaw, Jake Burger, Robert Hassell III, David Bednar.

Memorial Day weekend has arrived, and we are just over a week from June starting. The first half of the MLB season will be here before we know it, and it's time to begin scouting the waiver wire for potential pickups to boost your fantasy teams. At RotoBaller HQ, we rank who to prioritize in free agency with our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 8-- May 19  through May 25 to help fantasy managers in leagues that allow daily moves. This edition of waiver wire rankings features Logan Henderson, Matt Shaw, Jake Burger, Robert Hassell III, and David Bednar.

There are key performances, prospect promotions, and injuries to watch for this week. Texas Rangers infielder Jake Burger continues to mash, slashing .344/.382/.688 with three home runs and six RBI over his last nine games. After being demoted to the minors in mid-April, the Cubs recalled top prospect Matt Shaw on Monday. The 23-year-old is hitting .455 (5-for-11) over his last three big league games. Key injuries for this week include Dylan Crews, Anthony Santander, Jacob Wilson, Jonah Heim, and Byron Buxton, who are day-to-day or on the injured list.

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers. Stay on top of our weekly waiver wire rankings and turn on MLB news alerts to stay ahead of the curve. Once you're done here, check out our fantasy baseball prospects articles for the latest names to stash and pick up.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday. This article will guide you through our weekly ranking of the relevant waiver-wire pickup options, including how to prioritize them for your league (depending on the league size).
